UPZ Launches “We Can’t Wait ‘08″ on Facebook and Change.org

    December 11th, 2008 · No Comments

Between December 11th and January 1st, UPZ’s “We Can’t Wait ‘08″ campaign hits the web!

After organizing a national day of action with students across the country, producing thousands of signed postcards encouraging President-Elect Obama to keep his promise to engage in smart, effective Middle East diplomacy from the start of his administration, the “We Can’t Wait” campaign shifts into high gear.

Starting today the “We Can’t Wait ‘08 - 10,000 Students for Middle East Peace” Facebook group will launch along with a complementary support site at our home at Change.org.  We encourage you to join both and help send a clear message from the Pro-Israel, Pro-Peace movement that we support President-elect Obama in an effort to secure an Israel-Palestinian two-state solution and a comprehensive Arab-Israeli peace.

For more information contact UPZ Executive Director Tammy Shapiro - director@upzshalom.org.
